Holding hand (in the picture), In pairs, Continuous presence of horizon

Laura Puska questions the origin and limits of an identity in a complex and interactive society which emphasizes individuality, whilst proposing strong ideals. Often a starting point for her work is a gesture which aims to define limits of the self. Another act is a play between having control and letting go. In the installation, video functions as a medium to visualize a contemplation, and repetition is used to expose a variety of possibilities.
