Aribo (Ariane Boot)

POM is a debuting comic-zine series in which we follow two protagonists; Artichaux and Mr. Green, who live in a monotonous world where emotional outbursts are policed. Their job is to hop into the unconscious worlds of their clients or designated targets in order to find the source of these outbursts; which materialises itself as a pomegranate fruit, and collect it.

 

POM is an homage to the underground comic scene and the diy scene, experimenting with different printing techniques and nonlinear narratives. It is also Aribo's official start into the world of comic book making within illustration, printmaking, and narration.
