  • Nominees GRA Awards 2019 revealed

    Every year, a GRA Award (Gerrit Rietveld Academie Award) is given to promising graduates in three categories: Autonomous Arts, Applied Arts and Thesis. Judged by an independent jury, they are chosen to take part in the  SELECTED exhibition  later this year. The winners of the GRA Awards 2019 will be announced on Saturday 6 July at 16.00.

  • Emma Westenberg nominated for Grammy Award and...

    The Centraal Museum in Utrecht bought a pair of the famous Vagina Pants designed by alumnus Duran Lantink. The pants were made for Janelle Monáe’s music video clip PYNK, which was directed by alumnus Emma Westenberg. The clip is nominated for the Grammy Awards, in the category Best Music Video 2019.   • Buning Brongers Prijzen 2018 winners announced

    The jury of the Buning Brongers Prijzen awarded their biennial prize to six visual artists, including Wouter Paijmans , David Noro , Jenny Lindblom and Rutger De Vries . In the coming two months Mister Motley will publish in-depth interviews with all six artists. Next to this, their work will be on show in Arti et Amicitiae from 30 November until 16 December.
