Thesis: falling into the sensuous, cached intelligible

Through the window, the wind is blowing

The installation is inspired by the influence of systems1 on each other. The western human system, in many cases, has the tendency to create isolation from nature.

Through the window, the wind is blowing2 is about the isolation we encounter in our buildings, with a focus on windows. The word window originates from vindauga, old Norse for; vindr "wind" + auga "eye". Before windows no one had yet experienced seeing nature, while not experiencing other natural elements at the same time.
