The Gerrit Rietveld Academie presents Masha Rasputina: I WAS BORN IN SIBERIA. This is the first exhibition in Western Europe which revolves around the life of the generally misconceived Russian artist. Considered the hallmark of the last generation of Soviet Estrada, Masha Rasputina (b. Alla Ageeva) created a rather peculiar stage persona and produced a body of deeply labyrinthine work mining from a broad scope of cultural and universal tensions.
