Digital Unknown
is a project based on the assignment to find a spot / space / room / area in Gerrit Rietveld Academie where you feel inspired to make a site-specific work. I chose a small room, which used to be a dark room although when I found it, someone transformed it into the storeroom. I sat there on the floor. It was dark. I closed my eyes and began listening to sounds that surrounded me. I could hear different voices all coming from various sources. I took out my phone. There were a lot of notifications on the screen. I thought that all that – things on the internet and sounds are just noise. I determined to visualize it by creating a digital spiritual environment in the room.
