Rebecca Häfner is one of the bachelor exchange students for the summer term of 2024. She usually studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. For her exchange in Amsterdam she was part of the photography department. In her work she focuses on what surrounds us daily and what might be more interesting than it seems on first sight.
The shown work is called "The beige ones" and shows an extract from a group of people in Amsterdam that seem very normcore here but struck the eyes of the photographer and even bothered her. The very fast-paced, capitalist city seems to have washed up everything in a tint of beige.
