This year, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie organises a second edition of Rietveld Review(ed) as part of the Graduation Show’s side programming. An independent, external committee was asked to reflect on the Graduation Show as a whole, and to identify recurring tendencies and themes within the exhibition. The committee was also asked to select several projects by graduating students that support these observations.
The reflections and observations were turned into a reflection report which is now available online via rietveldacademie.nl. Free printed copies of the report will be available to pick up at the entrances of the three buildings during the Graduation Show from 9 July onwards.

RADIO
On Saturday July 9 at 15:00 hrs online radio station Ja Ja Ja Nee Nee Nee will host a public talk show in the Auditorium (Fedlev building) dedicated to Rietveld Review(ed). Partly connecting to observations in the reflection report but also other related topics. You are very welcome to attend this show.
COMMITTEE
This year’s visual art committee consisted of Basse Stittgen, Katia Krupennikova, Gabrielle Kennedy, Özgür Kar and Silvia Martes. This year’s thesis committee members were Clara Amaral and Nathalie Hartjes, chaired by Patricia de Vries.
