Fellows Exhibit is a Rietveld/Sandberg initiative to showcase the research results of the 16 research fellows that did a fellowships trajectory during in 20/21. With the aim to facilitate and support short term artistic research projects by alumni, tutors and guests, each fellowship project is undertaken in close collaboration with one of the departments of Sandberg Instituut and Rietveld Academie as a second aim of the project is to foster relationships between the educational programmes, research activities, and more precise societal issues.

With the intention of developing a focused research policy, Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Instituut have erected three fields of research, recognized as important for the development of our institute and art education as well as for a broader societal context. These fields are Artificial Intelligence, The City and Materiality.

In this symposium and exhibition there are contributions by:

Amy Suo Wu, Nicola Baratto and Yiannis Mouravas, Marjan van Aubel, Derrais Carter, Quinsy Gario, Jeroen Kramer, Nina Glockner, David Bennewith, Noha Ramadan and Swani Vinton, Mo Veld and Mika Perlmutter, Oskar Johanson, Marie Ilse Bourlanges and Elena Khurtova.
