Conditional Form is a series of three site-responsive installations that function as open-ended toolkits. Composed of wood, metal, paper, and water, each work is assembled with deliberate precision, relying on exact placement and the surrounding architecture to maintain a fragile equilibrium. Rather than occupying space passively, the structures adjust to it—folding around their environment in a co-dependent exchange.
One installation is kinetic, activated by water: as it slowly fills, the balance tips, triggering a descent and release before returning to its original position. In another, fragile materials support heavier, more robust ones, creating a tense balance.
Most components are handmade, reinforcing a careful interplay between function and form. The installation shifts in response to the diversity of its spatial context, revealing the quiet instability and precision embedded in its construction.
