This year the Gerrit Rietveld Academie introduces Rietveld Review(ed) as a new addition of the Graduation Shows’ peripheral programming. An independent, external committee was asked to reflect on the Graduation Show 2021 as a whole and to signal current tendencies and themes within the exhibition. The committee was also asked to select a number of projects by graduating students that support these observations.
The reflections and observations are processed into the reflection report that is available for download (pdf) here. The report also includes the observations of the thesis committee.
Free printed copies will be available at the different entrances next to the floorplans of the Graduation Show 2021 from 10 July onwards.
