Systems, routines, and technology create order but also impose limits. I focus on moments where boundaries blur, meaning shifts, and agency becomes unstable. My work invites reflection on how we navigate the frameworks around us, frameworks that may offer clarity, or merely the illusion of it.

Graduation work:

We moeten praten, ik weet niet hoe ik het moet zeggen

'We need to talk, I don't know how to say it'

In a landscape increasingly shaped by digital interfaces, where silence is punctuated by constant signals, the conditions for reciprocal exchange shift. This video series lingers in the suspended space before speech, between utterance and hesitation, asking when language opens up connection, and when it forecloses it.

Across the different videos, communication is not approached as clarity or resolution, but as instability, as a site of tension between action and withdrawal, intention and ambiguity, presence and absence.

Thesis title: 'Re: Asking for attention - The internet in you and me'

I’m writing a memoir - It’s titled ‘Neglected by Rosa’

A relationship built on daily rituals, encouragement, and progress, until something shifts.

Things I haven’t used in a year

A project presented as a YouTube channel (@listsofunwantedstuff), a stream of videos that showcase once-cherished objects now stripped of meaning.

Wanted: Unwanted Thoughts

We all carry thoughts we’d rather not have. This exchange project invites participants to send in one unwanted thought and receive someone else’s in return, delivered in a box by mail. Upon receiving it, they are invited to create an unboxing video and share their reaction. These videos form a growing collection on Instagram, revealing the shared and universal nature of unwanted thoughts. The project is still open to new participants.

Body

A body in public space. This series of photographs plays with the boundary between presence and absence, between being seen and being ignored. A lying figure can suggest relaxation, but also vulnerability or disruption.
