Pluk van Herwijnen

Franklin is al about the interspersed relationship between a girl and her cat, a symbiosis of nonverbal comfort and instinctive company. I explore the beauty of the relationship between cat and human, trough personal obsessions and merging my own experiences with shared ideologies. Using my practice to create alternate realities, I build narratives that evolve around its characters. I aim to achieve a bizarre visualization of my personal desire of a world where the lines between pet ownership, friendship and interspecies hierarchy are blurred.
