What seems chaotic could make perfect sense by changing your perspective.
This piece is floating in space. The two sides both represent a different reality. One side with recognisable pieces from the earthly reality of sturdy heavy cotton jackets in camouflage colours. The other side of sleek gold-coloured fabric with a marbled pattern that is fixed in the yarn that is stitched through. In the golden side the stitches follow the shapes of the fabric. On the side of camouflage coats, the coloured threads seem to offer various routes to follow like on a map. They are crisscrossing around and through the work. A blue route, a red route or a golden one, who knows where they lead to.
