'The work "Past had been perfect present is being continuous future will be simple" is a play on the English tenses, on the idea of time and our perception of it.

Constructed from wood and installed on the roof of the Pavilion in a billboard-like manner, the work acts as both poem and crown for the Rietveld building. A building in which time becomes endless, yet precious and limited.

The work is a proposal. A scaled-down version of a future plan, to be carried-out with long-lasting materials, installed on the roof of a public building.
