The work process is what shaped my work. Sometimes I like to just walk out of my front door and come back with things of substance. Being able to transform my surroundings into workable material makes every tiny detail around me important. It creates moments in time that can be documented, processed, and recorded for others to wonder at. Everything can be interesting, as long as you look at it long enough.
