Frustration is everywhere in society. The Extimal Office makes patients’ inner emotions visible by turning their words into droplets of condensation as they speak in a glass bubble; through extimacy, intimate stories become matter. The materialization of consciousness can be liberating. The doctor or extimologist helps represent silent or unthought thoughts. The patient can then see beyond current systems in the wild world where the psychic becomes physical. Extimology is a picture in which science and mysticism mingle.
