With what one word creates its change? Careful
According to some primeval Slavic knowledges, the entrance to the Otherworld leads through the roots of the Elder Tree. Water employed for cleaning the bodies of those who passed away, so-called dead water, used to be poured under the tree. Elder's complex root system was believed to help the deceased on their transformative journey.
With what one word conveys its change? Careful is an installation that uses objects and sound to create a space for the adoration of death. Here, death is seen as a queer inhuman force, an unsettling process that goes beyond. It is a space of reflection on loss and on mourning as a practice of care.
