Thesis: sounding

there (and here) (and here)

this body that speaks

Made from material generated during a residency in the cave “La Boca de Ballena” (The Whale’s Mouth) in Spain, ‘there (and here) (and here) / this body that speaks’ is an installation of three photography-based works that evolve around the notion of the cavity as a space of becoming.

Consisting of a 800x350cm wall-print of a sound-recorder in the cave “La Boca de Ballena”, a 100x190cm hand-scan of one of the the cave’s stalagmites, placed in a light-box and a harmonica camera with inside it a print of the cavity of a mouth.
