Does one really look at what is seen?

There is always something to see; the world awaits to be perceived, but it does not show up for free.

Mainly creating site specific installations that constantly evolve and get activated in specific settings – change in light, presence of the audience, and its interaction with the work– I want to question the active role of the viewer in the perception and apprehension of the artwork.

The use of minimal gestures and the impermanence of its shape challenge the viewer’s attention, requiring active spectatorship and time in order for the work to reveal itself.

It either demands interaction with the object or installation, or calls for close attention and time spent with the piece to witness its performance.
