Gerrit Rietveld alumnus Fieke Ruitinga wins the Overduinprijs 2019. Ever since 1992 this award goes to a promissing young designer on a yearly basis. This year it’s the third time the award by the Stichting Henk en Ria Overduinfonds goes to a Rietveld Academie-graduate. Fieke Ruitinga receives the award for her graduation piece 'Frameworks of Dwelling'. The jury praises the way her work zooms in on everyday objects and how these acquire more meaning.
