The Rietveld Pavilion is a work, event, project and exhibition space in a glass structure situated in front of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, managed by Teuntje Kranenborg (TXT, Gerrit Rietveld Academie) and with graphic design by Vera Rijks (Graphic Design, Gerrit Rietveld Academie). As a graduating student, Teuntje is exploring the Rietveld Pavilion’s potential as a more social and active space. Her interests involve hosting collaborative events, curating and creating platforms for activities.
Generosity, exchange and sharing are important aspects of this years’ Pavilion which is why the role of others is important. The pavilion could become a more open and public space— a place where students of all departments can gather and connect.
