Thesis: A non-exhaustive encyclopedia about Hair.

First, Everything Must Disappear embodies an exploration of personal and collected narratives surrounding hair. Hair carries (his)stories and choices and can be subject to imposed expectations. The façade refers to familiar design aimed at suppressing individuality for the sake of a standardized, efficient and stereotypical society. Such oppression imposes ideas about identity and tames the image we present to others, dreading the consequences if done otherwise. However, the uncontrollable growth of the self, breaking free from these stigmas, manifests as a hopeful revolution. The ancient and solid structure, built to last, now unveils its hidden layers and reveals the keys to its own destruction.
