Who Stole Me?
It's a sound installation, with a performance weaved in. The 4 channel soundpiece is a collage of daily conversations around sex, psychology, addiction etc, ontological monologues, guitar music, and other sounds such as airplane take-off, sink etc. The sound is in six slices with silences in between. In addition there is a chess board, table and chairs installed in the space. The figures are on the floor. On a seperate table and on the floor there are many pages of text about language, agency, reality, body and so on. The performance starts off with the performer posing in a baroque costume as a living statue, and following the sound she goes through different stages of agency, gaining it and giving it up, all the while performing different actions such as reading the texts or handing them to the audience.
