The Rietveld Academie Fashion Show is the annual presentation of the fashion department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. This year the Rietveld Academie Fashion Show presents the graduation projects of MARIJN ABEL, AMANDA BELLMAN, SELMA CARLSSON, EVA CHAUVIN, MARIE JACQUET, LOTTE DE JAGER, ENZO AÏT KACI, KILIAN MERCADIE, PAPA YORICK, MARLENE STACH and INÈS VIVIER, as well as a selection of work by first and second year fashion students.
Set in the monumental Centrale Markthal, the latest class of graduates will present a diverse landscape of fashion-related work, anticipating possible practices in or beyond the fashion work field. Throughout their Rietveld education, each student has been encouraged to develop a personal and critical approach to - or sometimes a departure from - fashion, aiming to change its material and immaterial culture and values, its narratives and traditions.
This is your chance to become part of a unique event with shows, performative acts, installations, interactions, participation and conversation. The venue is only reachable by train, so you will be picked up from the gates of Food Center Amsterdam by our special train - the Markt Centraal Express.
Spots are limited, so get your tickets now!
Visitors of both shows are invited to also join diner & the afterparty i.c.w. Markt Kabaal! Get your tickets for the afterparty here.
