designLAB race 2023
Each year, the first year students of designLAB participate in the annual designLAB race. In a semester long class led by Oscar Peters, master of the metal workshop and recurring teacher in our department, the students build a vehicle on wheels. They gain experience with metalwork to which all sorts of materials are added, sparkles included. Fully functioning and imaginative, these vehicles are put to the test in an exciting race down a hill in one of Amsterdams parks.
