Article on the colours in the Rietveld building

Over the past year, the Cultural Heritage Agency (Rijksdienst Cultureel Erfgoed, RCE) and the Sikkens paint factory have been working on reconstructing the colours used by Gerrit Rietveld in the academy's Rietveld building. These colours have already been brought back into the building in some places. Mariël Polman, colour and painting specialist, and Santje Pander, restorer of historic interior spaces, both working at the RCE, carried out this research and published an article in the August 2023 issue of the Tijdschrift van de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed (Journal of the Cultural Heritage Agency).
