Ten performers from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie explore how they can use their bodies as a refuge. They roam the available space at the Stedelijk Museum where they encounter different states of being. From exhaustion, to rest, to hiding, to dislocation. Seemingly unspectacular, yet observable by the on-going museum visitor.

Can one body

                                    shelter near another body?

                                    rest against another body?

                                    hide behind another body?

                                                                                                     To find ground

who decides who is out of place?

In the end it is all a matter of finding the right posture

How much space does one’s body need?

How much space does one’s body use?

How much space does one’s body get?
