Patricia de Vries is since 1 February 2022 Lector at the Art & Public Space (LAPS)/The City lectorate.
Previously, Patricia de Vries was a philosopher at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Maastricht University. Before her appointment in Maastricht, she worked for many years as a researcher and project leader at the Institute of Network Cultures.
De Vries has extensive experience with practice-oriented artistic research. She has the ambition to redefine and strengthen the role of art and design in the research field of public space.
