Thesis: My body has two doors
Based on personal family histories shaped by China’s one-child policy, my work explores the entanglements of individual experience within collective memory. I focus on embodying displaced emotions, restlessness, and vulnerability, using movement as a means to resist and reclaim power.
My practice moves between performance and film installation, employing space, slowness, and tension as materials to navigate the politics embedded in intimate relationships.
