A photographic exploration of the outer layers of the city. Between family-homes, apartment blocks and developments that break up, and dig over the very fabric of the city.
Venturing to the outskirts of the city feels like discovering a hidden room in the museum that nobody ever visits. A peaceful room where you have time to look, rest, reflect, and you continue to return for its tranquility. The more you look, the more you discover or see: hidden artworks, things you feel others should see too, but nobody appears interested in because it doesn’t have the same glamour, excitement and image as other parts of the museum. Wanting to share with somebody what you discovered, you search for the catalogue only to find out that all your favourite images, everything you have discovered, isn’t in there. So you start making your own.
