1. I Closed My Eyes 2. But My Soul Needs to Eat and Feed
In this long durational performance, which lasted from 28 February 2019 through 30 March 2019, Tuna Tunaboylu closed his eyes for a month and tried to live as a visually impaired person.
During this month, he did not allow himself to see anything. His eyes were covered with a sleeping mask and he was using a white cane for scanning his surroundings.
He was filming daily video diaries and his periodic meetings with a neurologist. His recording archive also includes the final performance where he opened his eyes at the end of the month at Stedelijk Museum.
