The work 'I send my voice up to space but didn't know what to say’, is a video installation in which I’m looking for a personal understanding of borders. I did this by focussing on the vertical perspective of space, rather than on the horizontal layer. Till how far up, and till how deep down, do borders run and apply? —— In an attempt to reach those imaginary borders somewhere on the vertical axis, I send my 3D printed passport up in space, together with a speaker playing my monologue. On the place where it landed back on Earth, I went digging for three hours. From the soil, I made a sculpture.
