'Time passes. It leaves its mark.
Which trace do we follow, which shreds do we keep?

There is a warehouse full of Past - fragments of monumental buildings neatly piled onto scaffolding, numbered, archived, waiting.
In “Untitled (Stones)” these monumental architectural-ruins are taken from their resting place and temporarily (dis)placed within the context of the Rietveld Academie. The contrasting architectures intertwine, with the contemporary intact monument becoming host and support for the fragmented ones; past times are being held in accordance to present existence. A piece can be seen dwelling - both physically, between ground and ceiling, and metaphorically, between now and then, between what it is and what it once was.
