THE 2ND BEFORE (K.O/KISS) is a constellation of six water carriers,
six art crates and one winners’ podium. It’s an ode to failure and, consequently, an homage to the attempt. Functionality, expectations and desire are explored as ever reachable finishing lines. Abel Kars confronts fragility through playfulness and the materiality of clay.
The 2nd before (K.O/Kiss) is a reminder to laugh and cry and cry and laugh about it all again.
