Exploring 13 different versions of a body within the walls of an old military fort.
Filmed and exhibited at Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen March 2023. The video installation was part of the TXT exhibition "Cross - Stitch".

Throughout my life I have been given names; nicknames, character names and names I gave to myself. I give each name a body, dress them in clothes and place them in a space in the forretress.
As these bodies of mine meet the concrete of the fort, they release all the power, all the frustration, all the fear, all the tension, all the waiting. They exist in a fort, but are not at war. Instead they are in front of a ring light, with silver shampoo in their hair, wearing crocheted bodysuits. They defiantly become the underlying threads that all together weave my queer existence.
