DOGtime
If you want to study art, theory and media in the evening, go to DOGtime at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
DOGtime is the part-time evening education programme of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie!
Our curriculum is challenging, critical and progressive. It provides a solid foundation for beginners and in-depth tuition for advanced students.
DOGtime offers a 5-year programme: 2 propaedeutic years followed by 3 in-depth years in which students can specialise by taking courses in Expanded Painting (EP) or Unstable Media (UM). Classes take place in the evenings from 18:45-21:30.
Our tutors, visual artists, theorists and specialists, are experienced and dedicated teachers. It is precisely because of their different backgrounds, own practices, teaching methods, approaches and views on art that students are offered a rich and broad view based on expertise and personality.
New ways of dealing with painting and information culture are the spearheads of the programme. DOGtime stimulates to relate and syncretise with different worlds and thoughts.
