I’ve been trying to visually define the place between cities and the length and repetitive images of transit through landscape. These trips have become a kind of fantasy for me, going home seems to be an endless loop composed of tiled lands – like the loading digital parcels of a video game-scape – where you never really reach the final point. The constant presence of human constructions such as windmills, factories and advertisements question what these places are meant to be and where the wilderness has gone – definitely not near the highway. My video focuses on the emotional aspect of sitting in a bus and waiting for hours while listening to music, looking at the lands that end up merging with my thoughts, wonderings and emotions that I might hold in my hands – as if they were my most precious treasure. They echo a krautrock-like electronic psychedelism, repetitions and looped sounds, landscapes built and imagined.
