The project questions a presence of plastic through the perspective of an exchange between living and non- living synthetic entities. Is there still a boundary between
the artificial and natural, the dead or alive?
The interdependence between humans and these hybrids can be fostered through the metaphor of a garden.
Gardening is a cultivation of, and coexistence with, the nature. Giving up on this activity could means the complete
independence of the plastified, synthetic nature. The mutating environment evolves from a garden into a forest,
where potential human life is unlikely.
Could we possibly still become the gardeners or are we slipping into a role of the barbarian within the depths of the garden ?
The Future Garden is a reflection on the common landscapes of today, as well as an invitation to consider our position in the relationship with nature while the video explores the futuristic scenario of The Uncanny Forest.
