Public & Projects is searching for two student projects who would like to show in Eight Cubic Meters this schoolyear:
> From 7 November until 5 December
Build up: 30 October - 6 November
Opening: Thursday 7 November, 17.00h
Break Down: 6 December - 10 December
> From 17 December until 23 January
Build up: 11 December - 16 December
Opening: Tuesday 17 December, 17.00h
Break Down: 24 January - 29 January
Public & Projects curates Eight Cubic Meters, a public gallery in the heart of Amsterdam, since 2013. Eight times a year there is a new exhibition by Rietveld students (or alums), that can be visited 24/7 in the Sint Nicolaasstraat.
We can offer a production budget of 200 euros per project (incl. VAT), opening and documentation.
We would like to receive a short project proposal (including images and/or drawings), motivation why you would like to show in Eight Cubic Meters and why it supports you in a broader sense on Monday 23 September the latest. Please send your proposal to projects@rietveldacademie.nl attn. Vere van Hal and indicate your preference for which period.
