I treat the forms and techniques in my work like a melody, that can be combined with each other to generate consonant or dissonant harmony. By repetition, alongside with variation, I'm observing a language that the letters, symbols, and geometric lines can create.

 

''never odd or even" is a series of etching prints. The metal plates, which are the base of etching printing, play an important role in the materiality of the work. The etching plates have their own designated size – each plate is divided vertically and horizontally with a simple formula – which can work alone, but also in combination. Their arrangement is intuitive, generating harmonies. 

 

My work often references scientific knowledge that revolves around us, particularly about a momentary sense of awe and distance that occurs when recognizing the underlying structures of the ineffable.
