Light Compositions, Moon Series

The graduation works consist of two series, both focusing on light as a subject and medium.

Light Compositions: Photographic paper, LED light source, epoxy resin.
Compositions created with light refractions onto photographic paper, capturing light in the purest way possible. Each print is a one of a kind, actual size light refraction reacting with the chemicals of the darkroom process capturing the motion, sculptural, graphic and elusive features of light.

Moon series: Photographic paper, LED projector, iPhone camera, telescope.

In this work the differences in the analogue and digital realms are acknowledged, focusing on the parallels through the consolidation of both mediums into a physical manifestation of the digital process. Digital photos, shot through a telescope, were projected directly onto photographic paper and developed in the darkroom.
