Elena is interested in how emotions can manifest themselves through involuntary movements and how the body unintentionally betrays what it wants to hide. She explores the notion of contradiction through space and materials. How in the field of sculpture can we pose questions between the conscious and unconscious? How can materials get out of our hands or how could they merge together?
