Open Day on 27 January 2023

The Gerrit Rietveld Academie invites you to its Open Day on Friday 27 January from 10.00 until 18.00 hrs. This is the perfect moment to wander around our buildings and have a look at all departments, including the Preparatory Course, Orientation Course and DOGtime (part-time bachelor's programme).

During this day, students and teachers will be present to talk to you and answer all your questions about studying art and design at our art academy.

Portfolio talks

You can have your portfolio evaluated by one of our teachers during a Portfolio Talk. So bring your portfolio to the open day! There is no need to subscribe and there will be a 'cloak room' to store your work so you can walk around freely before and after your talk.

Dutch and other EU/EEA candidates for the Basicyear & DOGtime can do the first admission round through a Portfolio Talk on our Open Day! If you want to do this, let us know: send an e-mail to apply[at]rietveldacademie.nl for additional info.

Programme

During the Open day there will be lots of workshops, presentations and performances to check out. You can also join a guided tour through the buildings. Our students will be your tour guides and since we are an internationally oriented university might be able to answer questions in your native language.
