Tamara Sarieva
She/her
GENESIS reflects the idea of a utopian
electronic bliss which frighteningly has
ceased to be the idea of science fiction
writers and has become the routine of
reality. A conditionally embodied cyber-
breed, in which not everything is as
simple as it seems but no less
bewitching.
The video includes texts that rhyme with
the texts on the walls and freshly
created still-raw 3D models that show
their textures and share freshly
generated thoughts. Letters mutate,
develop into sentences, and destroy
themselves. They leave empty [ ] spaces
in between, but it doesn’t help to
escape the void that is always there
near newborn but already post-mortem
pretending-to-be-alive cyber corpses.
They are stuck in this space, filled
with the expectation of presence, sound
glitches, and rendering mistakes. We,
casual and non-random spectators,
involuntarily witness all this chaotic
and naively determined action.
