The Situation is Hopeless, but Not Serious
My work is mainly about the aftermath of happenings. The tension in the existential dilemma between anxiety on one hand and boredom on the other.
Right now I make paintings inspired by western decadent lifestyle: The drained sense of meaninglessness in the aftermath of too much partying.
Bourgeois party scenes, dead birds or fetishes of different kinds serve as my models.
