On Thursday 24 October, Anna Jensen (Head of designLAB, Rietveld) and Anja Groten (Design department director, Sandberg) will host the first Life After Rietveld and Sandbery session at the Stairs about keeping community after your studies. For this talk they invited alums Andrea González and Roman Tkachenko to join them.

Programme:
17.00h: Doors open at the Stairs of the FedLev building
17.15h - 18.45h: Welcome by Miriam Bestebreurtje and Ruby Hoette, session hosted by Anna Jensen and Anja Groten
19.00h: Communal meal (RSVP required before 17 October)
20.00h: End of the session

Together with the departments, Rietveld and Sandberg organise a series of monthly sessions to prepare students and recent graduates for professional practice after their studies. By inviting both experts and alums, the series aims to give participants a clearer idea of what professional practice they aspire to and what their first steps will be after graduation.

The programme is open to Rietveld and Sandberg students as well as alums who have recently (less than 5 years ago) graduated.

The monthly programme starts at 17.15h and is followed by a communal meal prepared by the Rietveld Canteen to discuss the topic further and connect with each other. (Note: participants pay for their own meal (€7,25 max), we pay for a drink).

The next session will be held on 21 November, and will focus on life as a self-employed professional, so keep an eye out for the next invitation.

RSVP for the first session here.

We hope to see you there!
