A series of choreographed elements that deal with the contemplative and the format within which one can enact the role of spectator to test effects of doubling the gaze and reflecting it back, to emphasize the exalted state of looking at art works, with all the reverence that it implies.
They are: a visible mobile surveillance system, a sound piece containing fragments of other art spaces across Amsterdam, 4 museum guards on daily shifts, a smile.
The piece, with all it’s layers, acts as being nearly not there. Instead it embodies itself in the viewers.
