In my head I think about the magical science behind nature and animals, in my hands I am working with human hair.

I am fascinated by the appearance of organisms and the reasons behind their intentions.

This series of hair props focuses on hair as an extension of the human body, an ornament. Animals use ornaments to display and communicate diverse messages, do humans use ornaments for the same reasons? By merging the exterior beauty of animals and the human hair culture into unfamiliar ornamental species, I propose human and animals are not so different from each other. Yet, by displaying these new hairy species it shows that an animal could also be an ornament to a human.

Why are humans animals, but animals not (always) humane?
