Thesis: (lockpicking your way into) Infinite Sleepovers
Locks protect the things we own. These objects of daily use are relatively small but represent one of the biggest social structures our world knows — ownership. In Alternative Openings, Layla invites visitors to rethink the concept of ownership as we know it by understanding the technical side of locks.
In line with the essence of skill-sharing, she teaches visitors how to lockpick locks and lock boxes. By learning how to bypass the need of a key or code, we might see that property is just another illusion, like the idea of an unbreakable lock.
Have a seat at the table, follow the manual and learn how to alternatively open these spatial puzzles.
